The Family Tree
This is an attempt to put together the Epling-Johnston-Labert Family Tree. It may lead us to more victims. My thanks to Tara Brown of KODE TV for opening our eyes to this alledged Family secret.

a couple of things....J.C. Johnston, whom you refer to as the "godfather" has long since passed away. And as for George's children....there were more than just Shelly. If memory serves me correctly (as I was young at the time), around the time George left Ohio there suddenly appeared an "adopted" teenage daughter. If I remember correctly her name was deanna. The explanation that was given was the George and his wife Dianne had adopted her. Hope the truth comes out in this case.
George have three daughters, Shelly (Doug and ? 3 girls), Missy (x-husband Paul Burnett, current husband Darrel, 1 new baby boy and one older girl) and Trena (George and twin boys). George "adopted" many people but most of the families that were on the property were related. They treated "adopted" families different then REAL family. The Amey family plays a major role and they are not mentioned. I'm curious as to why they aren't included.
OPINION:
Don't be fooled that anything has changed with these people. I am aware of ONLY one family that isn't still some how connected to the Ohio or Washburn, MO group. They are still together and practicing. They are just more discreet.
Cults beleive they are going to be "tried" by the unsaved so this plays right into their Sunday morning sermons. They are greatful for their "suffering" to reinforce their message, "the man of gods" is connected to the almight who also was "unjustly accused and tried". You can not put irrational people into a rational concept of what is real.
Thank you for writing. It was the television reporter Tara Brown that tried to pursue the 'Family Tree'. The first 'comment' mentioned someone named Deanna. Do you know anything about her? I have added the information that you provided to the 'Family Tree'. I don't know anything about the Amey Family. If you tell me how they fit in, I'll post the Amey family members, too.
Hey there is a new case for this family. It is found on https://m.fbi.gov Lebanon Women Pleads Guilty to $415,000 Investment Fraud Scheme. That is George Otis daughter.
My brother Floyd Shaffer was found stabbed to death on October 9,2015 at the grand valley dog kennel that was on this property..there was nothing about this anywhere and they didn't contact us to identify him but was identified by Paul Epling..who was also the one who"found him"..I think there is a cover up by everyone involved going on!
He is my cousin...
And still to this day... Nothing has been done!

Kinda funny how they took the dog boarding signs down once once my stepson was murdered. Almost a year and nothing has been done and no one being punished for his/her crime. Judgement will come. Maybe not in this lifetime but the next. We miss you

I am one of the females who got the police involved, i was raised on the north part of the church (granby/newtonia) i never heard about anyone being stabbed but i do remember a few times the north part of the church was told to keep their distance from the south part (washburn) im wondering if this is why. Do you have any information you can give about the stabbing (year news articles ect)
Is there someone who could put me in contact with Tara Brown? She interviewed me when i was a minor, and persued this case with purpose then i heard shortly after she was fired i always wanted to make contact with her now that i am an adult and talk about everything.
